Abstract


In the 2012-2013 academic year, TR National Ministry of Education Yasemin Karakaya Science and Arts Center (Ankara, Turkey) 3rd and 4th level primary school students consisting of 13 sessions gain and aiming at historical information, analysis, synthesis and evaluation of high-level thinking skills such as making an archaeological project was carried out. Under the education project, the science of archeology within the framework of the Anatolian civilizations, archaeological excavations, archeology with its basic principles and archaeological materials based on the theme to cultural heritage protection and rehoming sense to gain an early age, cultural heritage awareness is aimed to develop. Students' critical thinking, decision making, communication , group work , scientific methods , research methods, problem solving, learning skills for the development of the Project during the students' creativity, love of art, visual formatting, museums awareness and visual culture acquisitions activities for the area custodians (education specialist teachers, archaeologists, museum professionals, restorers and ceramic artists) by the different environments ( museum trips) using different techniques (visual presentations, music , drama, etc.) is presented.
