Bu araştırmanın amacı, kentte yaşayan  gençlerin, sorunlarını, beklentilerini ve çözüme yönelik hazırbulunuşluklarını belirlemektir. Araştırmaya Gazimağusa’da yaşayan 10 kadın, 26 erkek toplam 36   gönüllü genç vatandaş katılmıştır. Araştırmada Gazimağusa kentinde yaşayan gençlerin görüşlerini belirlemek için nitel araştırma yönteminin örnek olay çalışma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış odak grup görüşmesi yolu ile toplanmış, toplanan veriler içerik analizi yolu ile analiz edilmiştir. Veri analizleri sonucunda gençlerin beklentileri; sportif ve kültürel; halkla ilişkiler ve destek hizmetleri; çevre koruma, kontrol ve güvenlik; insan kaynakları ve eğitim olmak üzere 4 başlık altında toplanmıştır. Yerel yönetimlerin asli görevlerinin yanında kendi bölgesindeki gençleri, kötü alışkanlıklardan uzak tutma, geleceğe hazırlama ve sağlıklı gelişim sürdürmelerini sağlamalıdır. Bunun için gençlerin ihtiyaç ve beklentilerine cevap verecek hizmetlere sosyal büyüme, bütünleşme ve toplumu ileriye taşıma adına öncülük etmesi önerilmektedir.

The Overview of Youngers Vital realiness and Problems Regarding their Social Psychological and Educational Issues

The aim of this study is to identify the expectations, problems, and being readness for the solution process. 36 voluntary young people participated to the study. The data were collected through semi-structured focus group interview and the data were analyzed through content analysis. As a result of the study, young people’s expectations are categorised under four titles which are; sporty and cultural; public relations, protection of environment, control and security , human resources and education. Local administrations has provide opportunities to their youngs to be far away from bad attittudes, become ready to the future and in order  to sustain their healthy development besides their own main responsibilities and duties.For this reason it is offered to provide services in order to fullfill their needs and expectations, integration and leading  society to take forward.
